HELLO!

Welcome to Sit Stay Studio! I am Ashleigh, an internationally award-winning pet photographer. I am a Master Photographer (PPA) and one of only a handful of Certified Professional Photographers in BC. I have a home studio located in Port Moody, BC and my very patient husband and I currently share our home with 2 dogs, 3 guinea pigs and 2 human babies. It is often chaotic around here, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. I love a cozy night in catching up on TV and snuggles with my family, Nintendo (original NES or SNES only haha!), piña coladas, oh…and getting caught in the rain.

Capturing and preserving memories of your pets that will be treasured over generations is my passion. I work hard to ensure your experience from our first meeting to your final reveal session is exceptional.

I have been photographing families and furbabies in the Lower Mainland for over 10 years and I absolutely love what I do! Since I was 8 years old and started volunteering at the SPCA, I have loved and always worked with animals. Through my first job at a pet food and supplies store, working at a veterinarian’s office, as a dog walker/pet sitter and now pet photographer.

I have loved and sadly, lost many pets over these years and every time, I find myself turning to their photos for comfort and to help me always cherish their unique personalities. I am truly honoured to capture these special relationships and pets each and every time a family books a session with me. I am lucky to be able to share the joy of a new addition to a family. Some days, I am there to capture the hard moments too…it is not an easy thing to do, but those moments are equally important. Many times, I am so fortunate to also be invited to photograph the next soul who joins the family to help create new memories again.
